Kiwi Wakame - Our Story


We are two farming families working in Southland, New Zealand, that thrive on producing healthy food for a developing western world. Paul and Wendy farm both sheep and beef with Paul and Kayleen farming dairy.

It was our passion for healthy food and a love of the ocean and what it produces that got us into harvesting seaweed. We sustainably harvest wild seaweed from the pristine southern waters in the South Island of New Zealand.

KiwiWakame proudly harvest the freshest kelp (Macrocystis Pyrifera) and wakame (Undaria Pinnatifida) our waters have to offer. Both Kelp and Wakame have amazing nutritional properties that offer a number of health benefits.
